Yes, two successful programs but Trinitys enrollement numbers comparied to Highlands in addition to the fact that Trinity is a tuition school is a huge factor in thier success.:up:

To that point of out thinking themselves, what was the strategy of showing up 20 minutes before kickoff on Cov. Caths. part? Literally the busses pulled up in front of the school 20 minutes before kickoff.

WOW, sounds like one heck of a great game. This is what football playoffs are about. Hard fought game.

To many great teams to only have 1 great. A few favorites would be "43 (they also beat Cincy St. X and won a Mythical State Championship), '68, '70, and my favorite '09. I would say '75, but they lost to Campbell County in the last game of the season.:lol2:

I am not ashamed of what these Highlands players are doing. I want them to play the best that they can. Personnally, I think they can reach a little deeper down and pull up their boot straps and pull out some wins and show what they are made of. If the leadership is there it will show.

Yea, I prefer the days when Highlands blew everyone out of the water 20 seconds into the game as boring as that may have been. As to date Highlands has a losing season. The teams they have won against are bad. I want to beat a team that Highlands is not expected to beat.

I want nothing more than Highlands to win it all. I have been a Highlands fan long before I knew I was a Highlands fan. Pretty much at birth. I have been thru the highs and lows of Highlands football. I'm not a fair weather fan. I care. I just want everyone to care about Highlands football as much as I do and want it to mean as much to these players as it has meant to past players. I want them to get mad. I want them to get upset. I want them to leave it all on the field every game and I am just not seeing it. 1939 Highlands was 2-8 1948 Highlands was 3-8 I don't want this season to end up like that.

Quit your crying , Highlands has always played up and beat them. No excuses. This team needs to pull it together and play like a HIGHLANDS TEAM. If not, they better get ready to face the outcry of the shoulders that they are standing on.

I miss the days of flipping monster truck tires on the field or pulling the oline coaches in a truck across Death Valley , or dragging a chip up the Death Valley hill a couple of times. Heard about some of the workouts this summer and I hope I heard incorrectly. There wasn't truck or chip or tire mentioned.

Bring back Tradition and Death Valley to Highlands!:taz::taz::angrybird12:
