Wow, remember seeing the injury at the game. Can not believe it has resulted in this. Our thoughts and prayers.

Come on, Seriously? Don't know what is going on. You know I don't have a dog in the fight. However, you seem to really want to pounce like many when Highlands frosh have a questionable year. So what has been going on at Ryle the last few years? I remember the days when from frosh on they counted on one RB and we all know how that turned out. Great kid . Had a lot of preasure.

So exactly when did high school football start doing the "sportsmanship" thing? What year? Did not happen in the 70's. And can anyone explain why it happened and when did the KHSAA adopted this policy?

You got 2 out of 7 right.:angrybird12:

They don't want a picture of it at games, don't think they are going to want it sitting at the games. It might upset 1 out of 10,000 persons. Not a snowballs chance it ever gets filled with cement.

I don't like any politician that that uses twitter as a forum. Call me old school . The only reason any politician from this state is paying attention to this is because it was on national news and they are avoiding the real problems of this country. Like , Government shut down, debt ceiling, and Obama. They would rather talk about shaking hands than fixing issues.:idunno:

They lost. Do you question every frosh team that looses what is going on?

Do I have to sign up to that flicker thing. I've clicked on the picture and everything on the page and nothing just still pics. Not a big deal. I'll just open the safe and get the game tape out.

This isn't working for me. I just get a still picture. Is this a video?

:arghh::isurrender:

Going to this game. Does Campbell county still have the same announcer?

:eyeonyou:Always thought you liked the friendly handshake.

I have zero problems with the handshake going away. Never liked it in the first place.:angrybird12: Really liking these little angry bird thingy's.

This is a great idea and could very easily be done. However, Dale or the school are not interested in having anything that has to do with the cannon associated with the school.:irked::banghead::angrybird_13: Maybe if more people talked about it and talked to the school about, they would think about it.:idunno:

If you don't want your 16 year old taking unneeded risks, don't let him play football. He can stay home and play Xbox on the couch. However, he may end up with carpel tunnel (sp?) . Whether it is a blowout game or a nail biter, it only takes one play that can end a players season. Unfortunately we are unable to foresee those moments.

Will do.:thumb:

Heck yea, he took the money and ran. They announced his name and everyone wanted a piece of the "cake".

No, it was the other Fennell family.:thumb:

Always a good win for the Birds. Congrats.

WOW!

If you think the commute is tough, I would really like seeing you try and pull that cannon when the team runs out.:lol2:

I volunteer you to be that guy pulling the cannon.:lol2:

That is a Dale thing. I like it and have benefitted from it .:thumb:

Cheerleaders coming over on Thursday nights and giving the guys a cheer , a kiss , and a small Wheaties box with a saying on it I believe ended when the team size increased and Thursday night practice took over. Thursday night pep rallies in Death Valley with the bon fire. Parades through town before the state games. Pep rallies immediately after a state championship. Rushing the field after a game. Loved this. Probably miss this almost as much as the cannon. These are a few that I remember and loved.

The ties ended in '07. I loved the ties. My youngest to this day still does not know how to tie a tie. I miss the cannon also.
