  1. That run was incredible. Certainly the number one play on my list and I have seen plenty over the last couple decades.:ylsuper:
  2. WOW! Congrats Eagles.
  3. Ru, I believe there is nothing to see here. No one believes this was a moral victory for Cov. Cath. I don't think Cov. Cath. would ever have to hang on to a "moral victory". They are better than that.
  4. Don't believe in moral victories. Can't imagine the Cov. Cath. players feel like it was a moral Victory. :idunno:
  5. I stand corrected.:thumb: Maybe Didn't he play some D Back? It was 5 years ago, can't remember what I did 5 hours ago.:idunno:
  6. I would also think that would be a major factor in that decision.
  7. Yes, with the exception of maybe Collinsworth a time or two for the 2009 team going both ways. I could be wrong but thought that he played running back and some D that year.
  8. So happy for Beau. I have loved watching him play quarterback. Hope I will get to see BYU on the tv in the next couple of years and to see Beau play. Don't think I will be able to make many road trips to his games .:idunno::banana:
  9. Prayers to the Herrman family.
  10. You may hope it gets colder, but sat at football games on the first weekend of December that were warmer than tonight. Weather has nothing to do with it. Both teams play in the same conditions and may the best team win Which was the case tonight.
  11. Looking forward to next Friday night. The Birds will be prepared just as much as cov. cath. will be. Big game. Next week is Highlands vs. Cov. Cath and everything goes out the window. Whole new ballgame next week. Great win tonight for both HHS and Cov. Cath. Highlands played tonights game as expected. Nothing else.:thumb:
  12. That is fantastic. Big congrats to John and his family.:angrybird12::thumb:
  13. CAKE EATERS works also.
  14. Because it is the second year of the two year contract?:idunno:just saying!
  15. Wow, that sounds like it must have been an good game. Any details?
  16. Yes there are trophies for regional champs, and district champs, semi and state runner up. Highlands has theirs all safely tucked away.:thumb:
  17. I wished the Birds had won this game, but I must say I love this team. They don't give up. I love seeing the controlled anger. (a little mean never hurt). Hoge is a leader and I am fortunate to get to watch him on Fridays or Saturdays. Kendell, Veneman, Beal, loving it. Really just love the way this team pulls together when they are down. Columbus has some great athletes from all over.
  18. Just want to state that I have a mutual respect for Cov. Cath. , but big congrats to the Birds for "Beating Cov. Cath. Again":ylsuper:
  19. Boone Co. would , in my opinion have the least success only because they are new to the discussion. In Campbell you have Highlands, Dayton, and Newport that are old school and have racked up some mystical state championships or close there too. Lloyd , Holmes and Ludlow,I believe have produced some state success. Not sure the records and would appreciate someone that could give that info. I'm sure it is impressive. I'm going back with this info. Some live in the present, I live in the past and try to connect it to the present.
  20. All I can say is this is Cov. Cath. week and I will save the "mutual respect" for next week. Right now it is "BEAT COV CATH".:angrybird12::ylsuper:
  21. Present. With Leatherneck in tow.
