Congrats to my Nephew Johnny "Big Country" Abner as he accepted an offer to play College Football at Cincinnati Mount Saint Joseph this past week. I am so very proud of where John has come in just the past 4 years of playing football. He will now get to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing at the next level and get a quality education to boot.

I think the coolest thing about the commitment was when the coaches & players Immediately accepting John into the Mount St Joseph family via texts right after John's conversation with his future coaches. Way to go "Big Country":thumb: Can't wait to watch you play on Saturdays.....

Congrats to young Mr. Abner! Make us proud!

Great to hear! Good luck to him and keep us updated.

Congrats Big John. Very happy for you and your folks.

Great accomplishment Big John! Had been hearing this for a few weeks and was glad to hear that it had been made official. The Mount is certainly getting a kid that has worked hard to get to where he is today. Congrats "Big Country" and the rest of the Abner's.

That is great. Congratulations. (Query: Is John one of Jack Fassel's grandsons?)

That's awesome, he should have a great experience over there with Coach Huber and his staff!
