I am so proud of this guy and the way he has developed and grown both on and off the field over the last yr.

 

At 6'4 295 lbs he is as gentle as anyone would ever expect out of a big guy like this but look out if you push the wrong button.

 

MSJ is getting a good one and our family is really excited for the chance to see him play in the coming yrs

I was very impressed over the last several weeks at how MSJ coaches recruited him especially Coach Rick Thompson

 

Can't wait to see BC wearing the Blue and Gold next yr...Maybe they will let him wear #70:taz:

Great news for John to be sure. Congrats! I also did not know that Rick Thompson was at MSJ...a couple of HHS alums there now...unless there are more that I don't know of.

Congrats to my Nephew Johnny "Big Country" Abner as he accepted an offer to play College Football at Cincinnati Mount Saint Joseph this past week. I am so very proud of where John has come in just the past 4 years of playing football. He will now get to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing at the next level and get a quality education to boot.

 

I think the coolest thing about the commitment was when the coaches & players Immediately accepting John into the Mount St Joseph family via texts right after John's conversation with his future coaches. Way to go "Big Country":thumb: Can't wait to watch you play on Saturdays.....

Coach Huber is a good man, your nephew will have a great experience. Congrats to him!

You might see that same Silverado at MSJ during practice next season...
