  1. When is Bob Huggins coming to watch Macke? Want to be present for that.
  2. Great game by the birds. Never gave up being down 26-8.
  3. It hasn't played a factor in past playoff games when everyone played on grass. The playoff sites in ky works fine. The playoff system is watered down with who all makes it but I like that fact that if you win out you get at least 3 home games.
  4. CovCath wins this game. Turf or mud pit it doesn't matter for a good team.
  5. Who cares about field conditions. Adapt and play football. Everyone acts like conditions of fields is something new. As soon as schools get turf they think they should always play on turf. Is everyone new to playing in the playoffs in November?
  6. Did Dayton bring a bus or a van? Numbers are hurting these two schools.
  7. 4th and 7 was a great call. Both good teams, not great. Will be a thriller come play off time in Park Hills.
  8. Offense needs help. So predictable. Put the blockers in when you run the ball. All this cute stuff of trips right or left then run a dive out of shotgun is terrible. Not sure how you top the Ohio U band... maybe the monkey on the dogs back for the covcath game. Don’t know....
  9. Great to hear that about HHS baseball. Many D1 baseball players.
  10. Posey had 26 against the birds last game on the hill back in January.
  11. If these are the cards that will be dealt for this upcoming season I will support it. I may not agree but if supporting BW will help HHS going forward I will take the gamble.
  12. That’s what it’s showing with some current coaches. Some great coaches who never played, yes...
  13. Non ring season but those kids did get a ring at some point in their time as a hhs football player. Last lapse was the class who graduated in 1996. Before that was the mid 80s. Every player from the 96 season has had a ring. This current graduating class won’t have one. Pretty big achievement basically to say if you played for Highlands you are owner of a state championship.
  14. What does Lou Holtz have to do with this? Please think about what I post.... Really.... I support these boys and always will. I will always support HHS football.
  15. We all want to support the coach and staff but when things have been going side ways for the last few years we start to question if this is right for the program. Many of us wore the uniform and will protect the program. Many of us were part of great teams and want that success to be experienced with all who put on the uniform. We all want each player to leave with a ring on their finger.
  16. With this coaching shake up does this open the door for new coaches to be hired? Also who are the “qualified” coaches on the staff and what positions are they coaching? Have these coaches been vetted by the administration to make sure they can help HHS football succeed. This program doesn’t need spectator coaches. Is there a qualified person who has played that position in the past coaching that position? Behymer for example... played at highlands as a linebacker.. he is coaching the linebackers. Who is coaching the qbs, Rbs, wide receivers, line, dbs, dline, special teams. From what I have seen the past D-coordinator never played a down of football in his life. That showed when he averaged giving up 48 points per game. Is BW afraid of having coaches in positions that know more than him. The offensive coordinator is a past head coach, hhs grad and wore the uniform. He had a short stent as a head coach. So with this latest coach shake up will it open the door to getting more qualified people into coach.
  17. "Average Coach" in below average to average programs. Newcath "above average" so lets see if he can become an "above average" coach. There is a winning mentality at Newcath.
