I have confirmed this through multiple sources, Coach Lickert is the new head coach at NewCath.

Not sure I really understand that move if true. Why would you leave the public school system to go the private route or is the plan for him to continue teaching at Campbell and coach at NCC?

From what I'm hearing Lickert had a meeting with CC school board yesterday to discuss his teaching job at high school. Have not heard the outcome.

So are you saying that an assistant under him at Campbell County was also in the running for the job and said assistant did not know that Lickert was a finalist or much less had even applied?

If discipline was a big issue with this team it's hard to fix that when coach isn't in the halls all day as well. It's much different hearing about kids causing trouble, and coach actually being there putting the fear of God into his players.
