Do you really think making $7k maybe makes coaching any team a dream job?Do what you love and find your spot where people appreciate what you have to offer. He is a great coach and a better person. CC loss is NCC gain and hopefully CC finds a coach that can start developing kids from the bottom up. NCC gets kids that want to go there. CC gets kids that are going to go there. Attention needs to be at the middle school level so that “players” are developed at an early age. It isn’t easy but with the growth in southern Campbell and higher income housing you will start to see kids with more skill and resources to develop those skills make a huge difference in the near future. I don't think coaches are in it for the money I think they coach beacause they love football.

Lickert will be a great coach at NewCath.

Let’s be fair. A lot of those guys have given a lot of themselves for the betterment of NewCath and NewCath football. What you got last year was a boiling point. Both sides need to take a look and reassess how some things went down. What can’t be doubted is that almost everyone had their heart in the right place. That being said, Steve, I believe would do well to make sure everyone knows that he was hired for a reason. He also would do well to keep a lot of the guys that are there. They know the school, know football, and care. You can’t ask for more from volunteers.

Never said they would hire him I just simply said he would apply for that job in a heart beat.
