This is a very interesting post. I don't know Ken Morgan. Never met the man; never even heard about him until I started hearing about how Dan Wagner lost his coaching position and how that all came about. A strange thing happened to me yesterday though - Ken Morgan sent me a friend request on FB. As I said, I don't know him so I declined his request. This morning, I had a FB private message from Ken Morgan that just said "hello lawcat". Well Ken, hello to you too. I see you. It's LA wildcat, btw. Not sure why you want to be my friend but just to let you know, I'm a cake eater so you probably wouldn't like it. I heard that about you...along with some other not so nice things after inquiring about you. So, no I don't think we should be friends but thanks anyway. If you have a problem with my comments on here, that's cool - report me, dispute what I said or ignore me. But don't think you're going to intimidate me in any way by reaching out to me in the real world. We just aren't playing that game.

 

It's wrong to post comments about persons when you do not know them. It's a dangerous game. Such comments are based on rumors and not personal knowledge of that person. If comments were made about me, I'd do my due diligence and get to the bottom of it. Don't blame him for reaching out. It's better that he reached out rather than putting something out here on this site.

 

Please make this thread about Stephen's new role on the Hill. If Stephen makes an executive decision about those that he wishes to have on his staff and, if such a decision includes asking for Ken's assistance, then it's Stephen's impression that Ken's experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset to the team. If Stephen does not wish to ask Ken, then I don't believe it is a smack to Ken (or any of the other assistants) but, simply, that he wants to go in a different direction or that he might have persons already in place. Any decision by Stephen to include Ken (or any others) on his staff will be his choice and certainly not based on the comments made in this thread or any other thread on this site.

 

Now - I'll go back to work making everyone's lives miserable by taking their cars and homes since that's what people say about me.

This thread is about Coach Lickert taking over at New Cath.

 

There have been no announcements about any of his coaching and support staff made as of yet. If you have any good information on people that Coach Lickert or the school WILL be bringing on, feel free to add it to the discussion. Leave the "I hope he doesn't hire..." business for another thread.

How have they always had the easier path? Up until the 6A era they had to (and many times failed) get past Beechwood. Then in the finals they saw Danville 3 out of four times and Mayfield once. Then after the 6A era started they have had a tough go after initial success.

Or Georgetown College...oh wait, that was an NCC guy wasn't it....

 

That isn't why he left NCC so nice try.

So much for focusing on Lickert. Butt hurt people on both sides of the fence.

What does NCC having coming back next year? Enough to compete for a title?
