I've worked on a case involving KHSAA and its arbitrary decision making process which decision was absolutely wrong based on the facts that were presented and of record. The appeal process involves taking the matter to circuit court. The issue is whether the player and his family can afford or are willing to take the issue to the next level. Otherwise the arbitrary decisions of the khsaa are just filed away and don't become public unless published or thrown around on social media. I don't have any independent knowledge of this particular case but the khsaa should revisit its policies and due process procedures in order to have more consistency.

My kiddo does not say much after games but he said there was a little throwback to NKYFL days with Red Devils and South Kenton. Trent and JJ with a quick reminiscing when JJ told Trent - it's not like little league is it? They've played against each other for years.

It's wrong to post comments about persons when you do not know them. It's a dangerous game. Such comments are based on rumors and not personal knowledge of that person. If comments were made about me, I'd do my due diligence and get to the bottom of it. Don't blame him for reaching out. It's better that he reached out rather than putting something out here on this site. Please make this thread about Stephen's new role on the Hill. If Stephen makes an executive decision about those that he wishes to have on his staff and, if such a decision includes asking for Ken's assistance, then it's Stephen's impression that Ken's experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset to the team. If Stephen does not wish to ask Ken, then I don't believe it is a smack to Ken (or any of the other assistants) but, simply, that he wants to go in a different direction or that he might have persons already in place. Any decision by Stephen to include Ken (or any others) on his staff will be his choice and certainly not based on the comments made in this thread or any other thread on this site. Now - I'll go back to work making everyone's lives miserable by taking their cars and homes since that's what people say about me. Have a great day posters.

The "begging" text is incorrect. It happens every year. Gives the coach(es) the chance to have all the kids interested in winter weights/winter program to know what's coming up after the holidays and when kiddos come back to school in January. Don't read anything into the "begging" comment. Simply a msg out to the kids to come listen to the coach(es) rather than just lift weights.

Assuming the location of semi-final games was swapped due to CovCath's appearance as a semi-finalist and, possibly, their wish to play at their home field. If that is the case, the fact that CCHS and HHS kids and families/supporters must travel to Cooper during rush hour for a 5pm game on Friday evening is a bit ridiculous. Game should stay in Campbell County. If the CovCath game location was changed (contrary to the initially released bracket) due to a possible request from CovCath, then game between HHS and CCHS should be played at Highland Park or CCHS. The teams should deserve the same treatment and not travel.

The poor choices in behavior by #25 and #14 did not appear to be handled by the SC coaches. Surprised that a coach didn't admonish. Instead #25 went back into the game. On the other hand - #27? After the game came over to a Birds lineman #65 Trent Johnson to shake his hand and said that he had a tough time getting past Trent. That's was a nice gesture and sign of sportsmanship. Maybe #27 could teach a few things about it to his teammates.

Yes - this is correct. 2nd game btwn the two programs is Thurs at 6pm at Highlands. The previously scheduled Dixie game was cancelled within the first week or two of the season bc of Dixie's lack of numbers.
