Just another game to get the players some field time. Two good teams, though. Should be a good one!

Also, the freshman championship was Birds vs Camels when I was a frosh (w Lorenzen)... we lost. It was a also rematch and we won round 1. I remember Ricky Honnaker refused to be tackled. Also in those days there was NKY freshman final 4. we beat SK in the first round...

Self proclaimed championship if so. There is a little team in Ft Mitchell that can't get anyone to play them.

Not a Championship game because CovCath beat both of those teams and has only lost to Beechwood. However the Highlands/Campbell County game should be a really good game. Campbell County is very solid and also runs lots of trick plays and execute them very well. It should be a very good game.

So if I follow, ideally a four team playoff between the four teams mentioned would be a true championship of NKY Frosh Teams, anything else is just another game?

Lol. I hear that kind of thought all the time, "trick plays" are part of most teams offense and the burden still falls on the defense to stop it. Every high school, college and NFL team has "trick plays".

Frosh season has to be completed before last varsity game. That is the stumbling block to any kind of post season. These last games of year are setup after season has started. In past the "championship" was really nothing more than two teams agreeing to play. Some years it works out, and some it does not.

 

Not sure of start time i believe 6:00pm. Game will be at Highlands.

I understand. Hell, a play action pass is a trick play.
