Yes, playing well indeed. Scoring has improved along with the defense. The 9 turnovers in first game were big part of that loss. Several were caused by Highlands, but most were of Camel's own doing. I'm sure both teams have grown since this game, will definetly be fun to watch.

I am having trouble understanding one thing. Two games ago Campbell County freshmen played Dixie Heights, yet there is no Dixie Heights freshman team for Highlands to play. I see where Dixie has combined the freshmen and the jv. Does this mean Campbell County played the combined Dixie team? Something doesn't add up.

Not sure how this Dixie thing is working. They seem to picking and choosing who they do and do not play. Canceled against Cov Cath and now seemingly Highlands, but they have played other "big schools" along the way?

Just another game unless you are envolved with these two teams. A lot of these kids have been playing sports with and against each other since they started playing. To end their Freshmen season with this game is pretty cool, even if it were for last place. I'll be rooting for every kid on the field and though I'd like the Camels to win I'm just happy to have the game

No, I'm not saying that at all. As stated in this thread, someone mentioned the Camels run " a lot of trick plays". I just asked why and was criticized for it by a few. No big deal. I wish both teams all the best in their game. It's good for both programs to play twice this year.

Yes - this is correct. 2nd game btwn the two programs is Thurs at 6pm at Highlands. The previously scheduled Dixie game was cancelled within the first week or two of the season bc of Dixie's lack of numbers.
