What will be different that makes you think CC has a good chance this time?

CC has 2 disappointing losses to HHS and the CCH. Both L's were earlier in the season. CC has been cruising lately and I don't know if it's because they can beat everyone else except the big dogs or if they have really figured things out. I'm hoping for a great game.

So if I follow, ideally a four team playoff between the four teams mentioned would be a true championship of NKY Frosh Teams, anything else is just another game?

 

If I'm correct in Boone Co.( If not state wide) Freshman and JV football cannot be played after week 10 of the varsity season. It's a stupid rule. I think the basketball powers had a say in thst one.

Self proclaimed championship if so. There is a little team in Ft Mitchell that can't get anyone to play them.

 

Then play in the BIG school division ( every year ), instead of picking and choosing the years you want to. :sssh:

It's just conjecture, but I've read lots of posts in threads here that stated basketball had a problem when football could start since they were doing summer basketball. Being that its full blown basketball time I'd speculate that they want as many kids on the court or available to do so as they could have. The perception has been that basketball doesn't like to share. So if there is a silly rule about timing and football I would think that they had some influence in that decision. Why else the rule?

The Camels will have to contain the Birds passing attach . Cramer is probably the best passing Freshman QB in NKY and have a great running game also. The defense for the Birds gave up only 7 to a good Ryle team and that was on the subs.

If the Camels can control their turnovers and run enough trick plays they may have a chance.

I am having trouble understanding one thing. Two games ago Campbell County freshmen played Dixie Heights, yet there is no Dixie Heights freshman team for Highlands to play. I see where Dixie has combined the freshmen and the jv. Does this mean Campbell County played the combined Dixie team? Something doesn't add up.

 

When SK played Dixie, Dixie only had about 12-15 freshman, and only dressed about 4-5 JV. players. After talking to our coaches ( SK ), they said Dixie is trying a week to week sch. (IF) they have enough freshman not injuried, and or grade eligable. It sounds like it was just a tough year for the Dixie Frosh. Hat's off to the Colonels, and Coach Brossart for trying to make the best out of a bad situation, sounds like. :thumb:

Cramer may be talented but lets not forget about Helton from CC. This kid is legit. He can beat you with his legs also.
