THE job is CovCath until Boone County builds a Catholic high school that can compete with them for athletes and academics. So, for the foreseeable future, CovCath is the best spot.

Probably going to get hammered for this but certainly Lickert won't be having Ken Morgan on his Staff? I know that the Guy has devoted pretty much all of his efforts over the years with getting Kids to the Hill and brings good Value but that guy is a Cancer. I have watched him coach on several Occasions over the years and it's obvious that it's all about him and not what's at Hand. JMOHO. Very good coach but sometimes his Arrogance overshadows everything else. Congrats to the old Bluebird Steve Lickert in becoming the new Head Football Coach. He will be fine on the Hill.

And who wouldn't ? I don't see this point as relevant at all...a prior post already said there are only 4 options to win a State in NKY coaching and Lickert is at one of them.

 

You are attempting to make it sound as if Stephen Lickert is disloyal, and that's not at all even handed attempt at a first fair shake.

 

He was brought in to fix a problem at NCC with the football program, he has a proven track record of executing on issues similar to what is faced at NCC and the administration knows that. He likely has taken CCHS as far as they can go, short of a Regional title possibility, he's likely not interested in coaching at the next level.

 

What's wrong with taking a coaching job that gives you an opportunity to return a program with a rich and proud history back into what it once was ?

A strange thing happened to me yesterday though - Ken Morgan sent me a friend request on FB. As I said, I don't know him so I declined his request. This morning, I had a FB private message from Ken Morgan that just said "hello lawcat". Well Ken, hello to you too. I see you. It's LA wildcat, btw. Not sure why you want to be my friend but just to let you know, I'm a cake eater so you probably wouldn't like it. I heard that about you...along with some other not so nice things after inquiring about you. So, no I don't think we should be friends but thanks anyway. My point was the Competition at 2A is deeper now than it has ever been. NCC has always had an easier path in the past.
