Why would Highlands change the Friday game time?

I heard Highlands has moved the game time up to 6pm Friday. One word. WHY? I think its bad karma. Do we have to resort to trying to disrupt someone's routine like the Dudley Hilton game? How did that game work out for Dudley? This is a poor decision IMO. Does someone's wife want them home at a certain time? I don't see the logic. Leave the game at the time it's been for the last however many years. Some people will still have to work until 5:30 or 6pm and I'm one of them.

I somewhat tend to agree with you...

Not sure why but perhaps someone in the know can fill us in

I agree that not everyone is off work the Fri after TG and heck I would be very upset if I were a LC parent of a player and had to work until 5 on Fri.

Heck if you are going to move the game up they might as well play it 2pm so it isn't so damn cold

Either way I don't think Carmen Electra has anything to do with game, I wished she did but I dont think she does:thumb:

Yeah the weather, that's it. The temperature might be 2 degrees higher. It's ridiculous. As someone who actually played sports, why disrupt your own routine when you're the favorite? Someone needs their head examined. I thought that Highlands was above these type of gimmicks.

I think that Dale actually has some say in this game time still since he is the AD. My guess is someone had to request the time to the AD and then he had to get it cleared with his boss who is Brian Robinson our principal

Don't just automatically hang this on Brian W, too many other people have to agree with him to make a change of this magnitude

If I was a Lexcath parent and I had to be late or miss my son's possible last game I'd be even more upset. I remember how mad we were having to go to Bell Co on Thanksgiving. You didn't want to be on the opposite side of the ball. I would feel the same way if I were Lexington Catholic. I'm very disappointed in whoever allowed this at Highlands.
