The rule changed both teams have to agree if there is a change in the date or time. Turkey Bowl Rule established in 1992. AKA Dudley Hilton Rule.

If that is the case regarding BOTH teams having to agree to the time change, then all is OK. That is the way it should be. I don't know why the teams agreed to move it to 6, but if they both agree, I am not complaining...

From my source and its a pretty solid one at that....About as solid as it gets!

 

FWD:The Two head coaches agreed to the 6pm time so it would be a little bit warmer for game time and make it easier traveling for LexCath.

Obviously you've never had a team routine.

 

Maybe they can get the teachers to come to school Friday and the players can sit thru classes so it won't change their routine. Their routine is already changed because of their off day. I don't see it as that big a deal. And you're really comparing moving the game up one hour to making the team play on Thanksgiving?

 

Get the sniffles about 4:30 and call it a day.

Luckily my employer closes up shop on The friday after TG so not that big of a deal.
