Final per the update thread.

I feel bad for the Scott Eagles but wow have you guys had an impressive season. Congrats guys, keep on keeping on.

Congrats to JC, can't say I am surprised you guys pulled it out in the end. You know exactly what you are doing.

Great job Golden Eagles and heckuva effort by Scott doing their school proud!

how did the ending go?

Holy heck. This one sounds like an instant classic. Can someone please give a detailed description of events?

Heart breaker for Scott and fans. I was really hoping they could hold on. Congratulations on a great season to Scott and to Johnson Central on advancing.

Apparently a Hail Mary is how Johnson Central scored from what I heard, don't take me word for it.

It was from 7 yards out from what I gather so "Hail Mary" may not be the correct term.

30 yard touchdown pass after the clock was @ 0:00

Johnson Central was 1 for 8 passing with 3 INT's. Complete 4 straight passes to win the game. 1st completion was for 15 yards on 4th and 14. 2 more short completions followed. The final completion was for 29 yards as the horn sounded as Geordan Blanton caught the ball in back corner of the endzone with one foot in. Refs conferred and scored stood for your final.

Wow what a game between two great teams. Unreal ending.

Blanton was triple covered on the play too!

Way to go. Congrats to Coach Matney and the Golden Eagles. I'm really happy to see you guys playing for a shot at a State Championship next week.

I'm sure we will see video and/or photos of the final play soon.
