Birds came out fairly strong but had 2 opening drives killed by an interception and huge holding penalty. They took the opening lead 3-0 on a long field goal by Daugherty as well. If they could've gotten points off those 2 other drives things could've been interesting.

Dillon Powell then took over and proceeded to rush for 4 TD's and do pretty much anything he wanted.

SK has a good balanced team. The turnovers are killers. Some were pure takeaways and some were just poor decisions. Highlands had to play mistake free to win this game. Just didn't happen. Congrats to SK and UKfan

The balance of SK is what probably gives them the best chance of any NKY 6A team aince the days of Shaun Alexander.

It will be interesting to see if they can live up to the hype if they can get to Male or T. For the time being SK fans enjoy it, just don't get too eager.

I think the guys doing the game said 6 interceptions for the Bluebirds Offense.

5 for Hergott. 1 for Gosney.

Highlands passing game is either a quick out to the RB or a deep ball. Nothing intermediate. Has it been like that all year?
