Congrats to SK on a well played game and remaining undefeated. First time seeing SK play this year and was very impressed with Powell's burst as well as the O-line's execution. Defense did a nice job maintaining pressure with various blitz packages and forcing turnovers. Again, congrats on the win and good luck the rest of the season.

Silver lining, Highlands' Defense kept SK under 50 points. It's the offense that really seemed lacking in this game.

Wonder how much better Hergott would do without his dad at the games?

Highlands got whacked as expected, they just have to suck it up and play for pride.

 

They actually have a State Championship to contend for. They are no where close to being out of it.

 

Again this week, kicking game shined even when it shouldn't have. The run by Doughtery after seeing the middle of the field wide on a punt to gain some 20+ yards was a smart decision on his part. And his field goal kicking is even more impressive each week.

SK lineman Colton Williams is going to be an animal. He's probably the best lineman I have seen this year in NKY and the young man is only a Soph. Look out!

Robinson is a senior..

He made some poor decisions tonight but his receivers didn't give him much help. They just weren't open very often. I have a feeling he is better player than he displayed tonight.

Hergott is a good athlete and a good kid but I think its time to call him playing QB. Put him at TE and put Gosney at QB to get more talent to the receiving core and take away some of the picks. I think Hergott is the more the kind of athlete to say go run there and catch the ball.... not the kind of athelet for: "if he does this do this, but if this is there then then do this, and if they come from here run the ball." I think Gosney is a little better at decision making. I think making that change couldnt make anything worse? might as well try it.... take the weight of the world off hergott too.

HHS needs a QB bad.

Well, one thing for sure this year, HHS hasn't fared too well against AAAAAA. Let's see where AAAAA takes them. I'm guessing to at least Regional Championshio game.
