I can see why so many people dislike HHS(some fans). Don't blame the coaches because they didn't play iron man football the whole second half (Because that would be smart against a team that runs a platoon system) highlands has always ran a platoon system and has been pretty good with it. Don't pick out plays that changed the game. Yes this highlands team had talented players on it but just accept that PC was more talented and it had nothing to do with play calling, refs, or your kid. Be glad they went to the state simi-finals after starting 1-5. And just remember Trinity didn't make it this year either. 23 all.

Lets give credit were it is do. Don't blame the coaches. Give Hall, Johnson and 16 the credit they deserve. HHS were still getting into the back field in the second half they were still hitting the back at the line, but Hall would scramble and make guys miss the same for 16. Many times HHS would have them for a loss and some how Hall would turn it into a 15 yard gain. Just off straight athletic ability. Offense they put up 31 points with that score the offense did what they needed to do. PC just had more talent. Don't bash the coaches because what they did with this team was amazing going from 1-5 to the state simi-finals. And the Dale comment is silly, BW won a state title in 12 when Dale was gone, Dale lost to the same team in 13 and BW came back from some crazy deficit in 14 for the state title.

Just too clarify I wasn't insinuating his father is a bad father. Just maybe too overdearing on his athletic performance.

Not saying anything bad toward his parents but he surely fells a lot of pressure from his dad. Kids after a game or practice have been heard saying "don't want to be Hergott tonight" That isn't saying the season is caused by one player but I believe he is a better player than is showing.

Wonder how much better Hergott would do without his dad at the games?

Hate the fact that CCH may beat HHS this year and its their first year with a new HC. It will look bad on Dave and it shouldn't. He was a good coach but was going up against those dominant teams. Put his teams in any other districts over the state and they would have made some good runs.

I very seriously doubt he is calling Dale.

Coach W was there beside Dale every year except Dale's first. So much of Dale's success was because of Weinrich. May coach W needs a coach W on his staff but just doesn't have one yet. Just a thought.

Now let's be fair. How good would PC be without Hall? I believe SWHS beat them without him.

They fell apart in the forth quarter. I believe they got too confident (players and coaches) and didn't adjust to the adjustments Bourbon made. It looked like Brady came out in 4th. You can't do that only up 2 scores. I heard from someone that they all (team and staff) were talking all weak that they would beat bourbon by 50. My thought to is don't do an onside kick everytime you score. Why give the other team the ball on the 50 all the time. It's not practice, it's a game. I am not the coach though just a fan.
