What do you mean "ugly"

Turnovers...inept offenses...poor kicking.

 

Go to the game thread it will give you an idea of how the game played out.

Lots of penalties as well in the 1st Half and borderline awful Special teams play at times.

 

A lot of it could be expected because these were two big physical teams grinding it out against one another.

 

Southwestern looked much better in the 2nd Half and to me was clearly a cut above.

 

Knox is a big, strong team but needs to find guys who can turn a 5 yard gain into a 50 yard gain. That was the difference today.

Knox Central is a really solid team. A lot of people were down on them after the Station game but their coach maximizes the talent he has. Southwestern was a very physically impressive team.
