White Lightning

University of Dayton offered.

This IMO will be to the advantage of the Colonels who will have more athleticism and defensive team speed. From the pics I’ve seen online the field looks much like South Warren’s field last year in this round. Buckle up Maroons fans, Colonels will roll 42-14.

Also, Jacob Shriver was back for this game and was a beast up front on the Colonels D-line recording 3 of the 5 sacks by CovCath’s D.

Great to have Shriver back as well. Young man was a wrecking ball during their championship run last year. His senior leadership and physical style of play will be important for the Colonels in the playoffs. Glad to see they are getting back to full strength at the right time.

In response to the posted question...no one on their schedule, seriously, no one.

It’s my understanding the players who are originally named as All-Stars are given the first option to play and other players are then selected by the schools to fill in for players who decide not to play. Here’s a link to the NKY Tribune article announcing the players who were originally selected as NKFCA All-Stars in November. CovCath’s successful football season reflected in Northern Kentucky coaches’ all-star team selections | NKyTribune

Players from CovCath will be: Grant Dyer-LB/RB, Malachi Pike-WR/Safety, Luke Lenihan-WR/DB, Alex Edgington-LB, AJ Mayer-QB(Not scheduled to play but is assisting coaches with QB’s)

My apologies. Yes, the game is at Scott High School this year. The first email we received said it was at Dixie. I confirmed this evening that it is at Scott.

It is my understanding that this game is on Thursday night June 7th at Dixie Heights HS. I’m assuming kickoff will be at 7 or 7:30pm. I have been told that one team will have players from SK, CovCath, Highlands and other schools. The other team will have players from Ryle, Beechwood and other schools. Can anyone fill us in on what other schools will be on each team? Please include coaches for each team if known.

Are the coaches and players rosters released prior to the game? How many practices does each team have to prepare?

Couldn't disagree more. Many if not all of the FBS offers for Kam and AJ were received by this point. Jack is a little earlier with his commitment with AJ committing in early April of his Junior year. The MAC level FBS schools will likely be wrapping up their 2019's over the next month or two with the big-time FBS schools mostly done and already working on their 2020's (e.g. Michael Mayer). It's my understanding that Jack was their #1 2019 TE and if that's the case they probably wanted his commitment or they were going to move on and begin putting out other 2019 TE offers. Most FBS programs do not bring in anymore than one TE in a class. If other offers go out, the other recruit commits and the school accepts the commitment then Jack's offer from Miami would likely be gone. Offers have a limited shelf-life and can be gone in the blink of an eye. Jack made a great choice. This FBS scholarship for an out-of-state KY recruit is worth about $200K and is from an outstanding school that would look good on any resume. If you like the school, the program and the situation you'll be in when you get there, then you don't wait around for "more options". And by the way, I don't think this coming season could go any better than the last. A dominating 15-0 is hard to top.

Congrats to Jack and his family! Great young man and even better family. Miami is getting a very versatile TE who is a serious match-up problem for LB's and smaller DB's. He will do well in the MAC.

Here are the twitter handles of the panel members if you would like to join in on the twitter campaign to encourage them to vote for Coach E. Could not find an official twitter account for Peyton Manning so a hashtag was included. @DonShula @scotsathletics @PFHOFPrez @TonyDungy @CondoleezzaRice @michaelstrahan #PeytonManning WL

Congrats Jake! UD is an excellent choice! Good luck!

Can't seem to find the entire list of those selected anywhere online. In fact I can't even find a reference to the NKAC organization. Can someone close to the Highlands program obtain a copy of the entire list and post it in this thread? It would also be nice to know a little history on the NKAC and who votes on the NKAC All Star / All NKY team selections.
