CCH couldn't get out of their own way in the first half. Fumbed punt, intercepception on HHS 30 and a shanked FG. The second half was a steamroller. The Colonels dominated.

Not real surprising. Covcath is just that good.

Not too surprising. First time these teams met Cov Cath had near 7 starters out.

I’m not surprised at this. Highlands has definitely made nice strides from where they have been the past couple seasons, but Covington Catholic is just still far ahead at this point.

7-0 @ half.. Your defense can't be on the field 3/4 of the time if not more.. Highlands needs to figure out the offensive side of the ball. It's truly pathetic to watch..BAD!

Great job by Blue Colonels - total mismatch. Eddie is a heck of a great coach. Very solid season for the Birds - easily the 2nd best team in NKY.

Sometimes just working hard doesn't matter when you are going up against legit D1 players. Highlands right now is seeing what it was like all those years. When Highlands was the team with the better talent and D1 type players who truly can make a huge difference in a game. Not just about working hard. Having the better talent and a few true top talented players is hard to beat.
