Colonels did a nice job of neutralizing Sisson. He had a big game in the first matchup, but his name wasn't called much tonight.

Tip of the cap to the Colonels. That was a fine performance. They played tough and the staff made the needed adjustments at half. Good luck the rest of the way. See you next season!

Highlands D played very well in first half. I liked the play of #1 for the Birds. Offensively the Birds are a mess. Bad play calling yet again. I bet the final # have them with negative yards for the game. The Colonel's D ate them up!! Colonels came out of half like a well oiled machine and keep rolling.

Birds definitely better than last two years but tonight showed the Colonels still a step up. Surprised they got the running clock with two turnovers, missed field goal and some big penalties.

Covcath has made many offenses look bad the last two seasons. To where it really doesnt matter who is calling the plays, they are going to make most plays look like bad plays because it's so hard to execute against them, unless you also have the type of talent they have. Which many teams dont this year including Highlands.

As for the Birds, liked what I saw in first half but oh how quickly the wind left those sails. If the OC is back next year in that capacity it will be more of the same old same old.

CovCath started having success running to the left side late in the second quarter. That was a good sign heading to the second half as the Highlands offense was struggling mightily to get anything good.

McGinness finishes with 233 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. Very nice.
