I miss the days of flipping monster truck tires on the field or pulling the oline coaches in a truck across Death Valley , or dragging a chip up the Death Valley hill a couple of times. Heard about some of the workouts this summer and I hope I heard incorrectly. There wasn't truck or chip or tire mentioned.

The 2nd INT was thrown directly to the defender. I don't even think there was a Bluebird in the frame...

 

You are correct he made some bad decisions but not all of his picks were completely on him. He just got very little help from his recievers tonight.

Highlands is down this season but comparing numbers in a game between a 5A school and 6A school is nothing like a bigger team playing against the smaller class teams. If SK was playing Newport Catholic or another team around that size, the argument would be more valid.

 

And as far as Powell goes, he's a hell of a running back. Many defenses would have trouble stopping him, which their OL also contributes to in a big way.

Stop it! It has never been a problem in the past. They are getting beat plain and simple by better teams. The season is not over and now is the time to make it happen for district play. We have played big schools in the past and didn't complain how many more students they had! Don't start now.

Quit your crying , Highlands has always played up and beat them. No excuses. This team needs to pull it together and play like a HIGHLANDS TEAM. If not, they better get ready to face the outcry of the shoulders that they are standing on.

All I did was ask SK peeps how many boys they had.... cmon guys. And anyways Highlands is like by far the smallest 5A school, they may be playing up w covcath (not sure). Just saying yeah you've beatn us 2/26 times and you have a lot more kids... good job! (to the SK peeps on this blog). seriously good job to SK players / coaches/ parents. SK was boss. their OLine was men playing boys QB could've done it on his own but he didn't have to. Powell is one step move and burnit back that will determine how far they go. He wasn't even utilized to his full potential tonight.

Men playing boys really? I seen a couple of your MEN as you call them playing very dirty and toward the end being thrown like rag dolls. Anyone at the game tonight would have seen sk should have had more penalties than was called. They was a very dirty team.

Did Daugherty suffer an injury on the field tonight?

 

That is a big old yes. Why was he in the game at that point in time? He stood on the sideline much of the night, so why not just leave him over there? Two straight weeks one of your best defenders is standing over there watching. What is the definition of insanity?
