The birds need help on defense personnel wise. Murray is a nice running back but his aggressive nature as a running back would make a nice addition to the linebacker group! The two headed monster of him and Pulsfort at running back is wasting two good athletes only playing half of the offensive plays.

N Ok I'll play your game, in the last 8 years the birds have made it to the finals. You seem to think that the coaches didn't play the best players to win this game but you have been saying all year that this team had just as much talent as in the past. So the coaches did that on purpose to loose the game? I'm very proud of this team for not giving up when it would have been easy to do! Sometimes the other team just has more talent and this year happens to be one. The seniors had a great career and they should be proud of that and all they've accomplished!

Highland's has always tried scheduling a couple of games that could give them a lost( St X, Elder, etc). Scheduling NKY schools would never be considered over scheduling!

Stop it! It has never been a problem in the past. They are getting beat plain and simple by better teams. The season is not over and now is the time to make it happen for district play. We have played big schools in the past and didn't complain how many more students they had! Don't start now.

Maybe try Daugherty at tight end. A strong kid who could help with the run blocking and maybe catch a few passes also. The tight end has been void of HHS offense for a while now, even Dale's last few years of coaching.

Instead of getting on this site complaining that your son isn't playing offense, call a meeting with Coach Weinrich and tell him how you feel! It's easy to get on this site and complain.

The points scored against the Birds the last two years are the biggest concern for me. How much would it help having Coach Weinrich calling the defense like he's done the past 15 yrs. Sometimes it's the Jimmy's and Joe's and sometimes it's how you use them. I'm not real sure what the problem is but this defense doesn't resemble a typical HHS defense.
