I think Ky is definetely getting better, but still a year or two away. Coach Brooks is doing a good job at a tuff place to get top recruits to come to! Were getting there, i just hope that preduent patience will prevail.

Gotta agree with u on the Duffer Duffy thought. Beginning the off season with a huge graduation loss, starting it with a players death & all the resulting finger pointing & huge distractions, the kids have bucked it up & are having a fine season that could well end in a district title. Should Hendo beat Apollo friday nite, it will set up a huge showdown in Henderson with Oboro Sr. Henderson has not lost a district game in several years! Perhaps its a little early, but he gets my vote as COY statewide!

He informed the team prior to the season he was stepping down after the season. He is simply tired of the 7 day a week grind. He wanted to step down a few years back, but Duffer persuaded him each year to stay. I can tell you, the Duffys are a very close knit family!

Duffer Duffy has a one week suspension from coaching due to aforementioned reason. He will serve it this week. The players R learning how to overcome adversity, which life throws at you.Tons of credit to the staff for a great job in doing so. In a season of pain, investigations, unfounded rumors & gossip, the players find a way to put it aside & battle each friday nite!
