What school has the biggest following for an away game?

Highlands plays Elder this year at Highlands and I think that Elder will probably be the biggest draw ever at HHS. What do you think!

I was at the Lex Cath game last year and they brought a really good following their student section was up and cheering the whole game, and their fans were scattered through the whole stadium instead of combined to the small section

Trinity & X always bring very large crowds...at times larger than the home teams' crowds.

Cincinnati Elder has the largest crowd at away games. I am guessing 12 to 15 thousand all dressed in purple. Since Highlands holds around 4,500 seating will be limited.

I know when HHS played Elder at PBS that they(Elder) had sold near 10,000 presale tickets for those games. There's no way that they will get that many presale tickets for this year's game. You might want to get there early if your going this year. I'm not to sure how many can watch a game at HHS.(Attendance wise)

I have said this before... I was very impressed by the Simon Kenton bunch and the troops they brought to the playoff game this year. They will have lots to cheer about in '06 too!

Owensboro Catholic has the biggest following for a 2a school I have seen.

Elder will be given 2,000 tickets to presell. Which means if you're a Highlands fan you better buy your tickets presale and buy them on the first day they are available. I think we'll have a lot of Buckeyes driving over to Highlands trying to buy up our presale tickets. I mentioned portable bleachers to Elgin and he'll be looking into it.

Know any "Gate Keepers", that might let a little ole lady in so she doesn't get crushed by the masses? :sssh:

Someone alert Gametime!!

How many Bluebird fans will follow the Bengals fan's lead and sell their tickets to the Purple Nation??? :jump:

I wish I would have been able to play in this HHS vs. Elder Game. Can you imagine the atmosphere? People will be surrounding the sidelines, no one will probably be able to walk anywhere... I hope I am not raising my expectations up too high.

Manual never use to, as far as I remember, but the numbers have increased the past few years. But nowhere near the largest, I'm sure.

I was impressed with the crew that Columbus Desales brought to Highlands. They completely filled their half of the stands and also brought their band whom performed at half time . Oh yeah their team wasn't to shabby either.

Wasn't it due to the fact that Desales brought their band the Highlands band had to play after the game? Hey, it's OUR field and I think OUR band should play at half time. :fire:
