In Kentucky I've never seen a team bring the crowds in like Trinity.

Obviously then you have never attended a St. X. game when they were the visiting team...although I will say the pebbles do qualify as #2 for crowd following within Kentucky. :D

However, as others have already noted above, when you include the out of state border teams, Cincinnati Elder is in a class all by themselves.

Know any "Gate Keepers", that might let a little ole lady in so she doesn't get crushed by the masses? :sssh:

Henry 521, if you check with Stoe, I'm sure he'll let you through the breezeway..............

Wasn't it due to the fact that Desales brought their band the Highlands band had to play after the game? Hey, it's OUR field and I think OUR band should play at half time. :fire:

True. But it was kind of nice to see a different routine

Highlands plays Elder this year at Highlands and I think that Elder will probably be the biggest draw ever at HHS. What do you think!

The two biggest reasons Elder could have the "biggest following for an away game" in this one:

1. Elder is a BIG school (lots of students, parents, alumni, etc.)

2. It's not exactly a "long trip on narrow, winding roads".

(FWIW, X and T in KY have large following crowds for the same reason. To be fair, though, X has played some out in the state)

;)

I was very impressed in 2A with Belfry the Pond Nation because when they came to N. Ky. to play Lloyd a few years ago in the snow, sleet and mud they brougth a tremendous following. They have my vote for a small school. For larger I also agree with the Elder Vs any high school they will definitely have a very large contingent. JD

Not after the thrashing someone has taken this week. :irked:

I know where i will be standing. After this past year of standing there, it's probably the best seat in the house. With a couple of good perks to boot!!! :D

I have taken tickets for sometime at the various venues around town and no high school supports their school the way the Elder Panther fans come out for their team. I'm always very impressed.

St.X Tigers have the largest following on the road. But in the fall of 2007 we will finally have a home game!

Sticky, you don't qualify for that job. You have to have at least a speck of sanity. :creepy:

Please insert Trinity for "St. X." and kittys for "peebles" and you just might be correct.

Big game at Male last year and some of the X fans had to come over to our side because there was no room on the vistor side, and there was bad weather that nite too. We were impressed with that.

I was at the St. X / Highlands game this year and I was very unimpressed with how many people the biggest school in the state had at a home game.
