Things like that happen on opening nite. Mental mistakes happen playin in dangerous humidity!

This was a huge surprise. But its not uncommon for a team to stink up the joint on opening night & roll afterwards!

Inability to practice in the heat told the tale here. Henderson was at least as good as Castle, but couldn't keep players on the field in the second half. Simple as that.

Owensboro is gonna b tuff!

I have always heard the coaches stress hydrating the night b4;)

I know one thing, Webster Co has no business playing Paducah Tilgman, which they will do in the proposed 6 class system.

This is a tragedy. I have worked for the team the past 8 seasons as equipment mngr. My heart goes out to coach Duffer Duffy, the team, the family and all of Henderson. Coaches water down the players thru out the practices. This could have happened anywhere, and WILL again somewhere. To assess blame is a work in futility at this point!

Im happy for Ced. Kid gotta tuff break, missing the entire senior season. Henderson Co never recovered from the loss!

Im proud of My manager Colleague(sp) Kilo(Graham) and TJ. Centre will greatly benefit from the addition of these two fine young men!

They aren't rabid High School football fans down there. Henderson Co brings more fans to games VS Christian Co than show up from hometown fans!

Henderson Co hit hard by Graduation. Gone r Fidler, Lamar,Rainey(actually lost him b4 last season) Nord. They will be around a .500 club.

Henderson Co broadcasts on WSON 86am with Henderson Mayor Henry Lackey and Leo Peckinpaugh. Peackinpaugh also calls Western Ky games. In fact, Leo called his last Colonel game this past season after 25 or so years paired with Mr. Lackey the whole time. They begin each broadcast 1 &1/2 hours b4 kick-off and if there is a better overall production for a high school game, i'd love to hear it!

Henderson Co brings a good crowd, not bad for a town of 25,000. Henderson Co may have 2000 kids, but u figure close to half are girls.
