Im sorry to hear of this. I would fervently hope that Henderson Co will at least consider the possibility of hiring an interim coach just for this year. This will allow Henderson to have plenty of time in picking among more numerous candidates next spring!

I don't post alot & usually only football. You get to know members even tho u never meet them. Im saddened to read of his sudden passing & my thoughts & prayers go out to his family & friends at home & on here. May he rest in peace.

Sounds like a super guy & great coach. I welcome him to Henderson Co.

Really don't know anything about Mike Jackson, im sure he is a great coach. My hats off to Brian & Josh Boston for keeping the ship afloat. It's gonna b tough to get the cailber of coach that we had in such a dealine situation. Whatever your opinion's about either Duffy was, they can flat out prepare a team to play thier opponent. Perhaps im biased, as the Duffy's were the only coaching staff i ever helped. I just can't imaging anyone outworking them, Some really big shoes to fill in that regard. I know, i have seen it for 9 seasons.

Personally, i'd like to see Henderson co hire from within on an interim basis for one season only. We need a great, high caliber coach to compete with the likes of Male, Trinity & St. X & we aren't likely to find one this late.

Somethins in the air. Kinda strange, don't u think?

Whats up with that? Could it be that the KHSAA posse is nearing town?

Your right. My bad. I kno this is a football forum, but whats up with Phil leaving?

No official word here on that. Cart b4 the horse here.

Talked with the team in the past 24hrs.

Congrats to Jesse. He's a fine young man who i have had the privledge of being around. He will b a great addition to the NAIA powerhouse!

Kudos to the Rocks. They just keep on winning. Kudos to the kids @ Henderson Co & staff. Thumbs up:ylsuper: Thumbs down to Christian Co-underachieved again. Thumbs down to Owensboro Sr, hick-up'd @ the wrong time. Thumbs down to Western Ky 4-A football, down again. Thumbs up to Grayson Co, fine season. Warren Central-sorry bout that:p thumbs up to Male, u had a great season anyway:thumb: Dang u Ryle:madman:

I guess the dislike for the Duffys just keeps many from giving credit where its due. Henderson Co dispatched both Warren Central & Owensboro Sr. on the road to reach the final 4, but not even a mention. Sure Henderson got smoked by Ryle, but so did Ryle by Trinity & yet they R listed repeatedly.:irked:

I agree. This done NOTHING for the 25 or so current 4-A teams that will move to 6-A. They still gotta go thru the ville big 3 of Trinity, St.X, & Male.

Its what keeps Henderson Co from competing(sp) with the Trinitys, X;s * Males. But they work just as hard.

Thanks fellas!

Lightfoot did not play. Hendo was on the verge of blowing a good Memorial team out, leading 30-8 near the half. Foul trouble & better care of the ball in the 2nd half allowed Memorial to close to within 3.

Will these games b broadcast online?

That bout sums it up.

I know for a fact that Hendo coaches trade films!

Great win for us!!!!!! The cinderella keeps dancin!!!!!!!! We should have scored more. Jesse Gilham had a monster game. Final 4 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bowling Green big!

Much of it was parents running to the local Media with thier personal agenda & u know how the Media is.

If you can put aside your personal feelings regarding the Duffy's( Duffer should b COY), give a big hand for the feel good story of the year. These kids(young men) have been thru more adversity than any team should ever go thru to b sittin there in the final 8. In a season where little was expected from a depleted group via heavy graduation loss, thru the death of a teamate b4 thier eyes, the ensuing media frenzy, fueled by gossip & rumors, & twice without thier coach, bonded together to fashion a 9-2 record. Now they have a daunting task of going on the road to play a tuff Warren Central team. They deserve a big hand:ylsuper:

Ya gotta go with WC being @ home, but it should b a dandy!
