This game is not a matchup of the Hoptown of old and BG of old. This Hoptown team is the worst in a long time with the exception of a couple of super athletes. Any team that struggles to score points on Madisonville doesn't have a prayer against BG.

A question for you Western Ky football guys. Is BG that good, the rest of Region 1 3A that bad, or a combination of both?

Somewhat of a combination. This game will be close as are all the games in the BG / Hopkinsville series. The Tigers have an outstanding talent in Emmanuel Taylor. In the end, I believe BG will be too much for Hopkinsville and come out on top 28-14.

If Bowling Green does get to the carpet, are they in for a shock like last year. Does the percived lack of competition hurt them in the title game (if they get there)? Whoever comes out of the east, (especially if it is Cov Cath or Lex Cath) will have once agian travelled an incredibly tough road.

 

I think personally that if BG gets to Louisville agian, they will have the sour taste from last years title game in their mouth and on thier minds.
