  1. 7-Ballard Memorial 5-Paducah Tilghman 3-Apollo 2-Christian Co 1-Mclean co tie-Apollo
  2. Tough match-up for the Webster Co trojans. They don't belong in the same class as Paducah Tilghman!
  3. Henderson played hard, more so in the second half. Pourous(sp) secondary( aren't most of them in high school) doomed them. Ran the ball well at times, with some long break aways. Its gonna be a long year, but it will pay off down the road. Daviess co has a decent team & will have a winning season, but won't go far in the playoffs. BTW, the score was 35-29.
  4. You mean Reese? Anyway, from what i hear, Henderson simply has not played with any passion. This will b my first game to watch, so i guess i will see for myself. Im sure Daviess Co is chompin at the bit to get a win over Henderson, so few they have been over the years. If Henderson looses this game, they may well not win one at all. If Henderson plays with some fire & enthuisiam, they can win this district opener. Im going with Hendo 26-20.
  5. 7-Metcalfe Co. 5-Owensboro 3-Hart Co. 2-Caldwell Co. 1-Graves Co. TB-Owensboro
  6. It will be one of the Ville3 every year. Either Trinity, Male or St.X.
  7. 7-Glasgow 5-Madisonville 3-Owensboro 2-Graves Co 1-Monroe TB-Glasgow
  8. Anybody know anything about this team? Henderson Co travels there friday!
  9. Henderson Co @ Evansville North moved from 7 to 7:30.
  10. 7- Christian Co 5- Hancock Co 3- Franklin Simpson 2- Graves Co 1- South Fulton Tie- Hancock Co
  11. Scrimmaging Caldwell Co @ Caldwell Co. I have no idea why it was moved.
  12. We sure weren't ready for Castle last season, the hottest football game i ever worked, bar none! The team practiced just about the entire preseason indoors & wilted at halftime after leading by 13. Lost by 20 something! Henderson Co is also weighing kids before & after practice to check water loss.
  13. Only 3 home games:scared: Why? Did i miss something:confused:
  14. I know it will be awkward for sure. Im gettin older(49) & packin mail all day is wearing me down. By the time i would drag home on game nite, it would be 11pm, & that was home games. Much later on road trips that increasingly my job caused me to miss a few games each year the past 4 seasons. Anyway, i kno it won't be easy, i have many alum friends on the sideline. I was gonna hang it up last season, but the Owens tradgedy compelled me to go back out & help. Now u got me missin it, dang you:p
  15. Just alot of old football junk used back when Mojo was there probally. Every 2 yrs they order new uni's, so they are due, perhaps this year. Alot of old film reels, old shoulder pads, & if they got out all these kids, im sure they will need new pads including shoulder, more helmuts. Im sure coach Clevenger will need a new influx of money to upgrade an expanding program.
  16. Gettin back into the stands & just watch! Since 98, i have been a volunteer helper for Henderson Co's football team & with being a mail carrier, it was tuff getting my day job done & making it there, especially away games. I would try & get there by 4:30pm, go thru the players equipment & spot & fix any problems b4 the game started along with a myriad of other things to do.Im gonna miss the sideline crew as much as the game itself. Some fine folks on the sideline there at Henderson, from Poncho to Tim Barron(best trainer in state) & the cast of alum that gather there. Im proud to be considered an alum too. Does anyone else on here help thier local high school?
  17. If your asking me, i couldn't tell ya, im hanging it up as Equipment mngr after 9 seasons of volunteer helping. Ready to sit in the stands again & just watch.
  18. I agree. There is some speed in Morganfield, if they can get them to play, Union Co can compete.
