Under the new classification with 6A and the ability to move up in class, does anyone see any team making the leap to the top class? If so why? While I would like to think that people want to play and beat Trinity/St.x/Male for a title I also think that human nature is the path of least resistance and most would not want to face that juggernaut willingly. Thoughts?

John Hardin will be 5A, bu tif they're able to maintain the success they had last year, they should consider it. The area is growing as well, so they may qualify for 6A in the near future.

So let me get this straight, JH, who will be one of the top5 in 5A and have a good shot at a title appearance every year, is going to give that up to go to 6A where the only question most years will be, which one wins T or X. Yeah.... I see that happening.

Honestly? I believe for the challenge. Dale and most HHS people I know don't want easy, they want to earn it. It would be more of a challenge to play up, and thus I think in the proposed system, it would be appealing.

If they go with the superclass, will Male move up to 6A?

Why would ANYONE move up for competitive reasons? This plan was put in place to make it easier to win, not harder. If teams move up, it means this plan was not necessary in the first place.
