  1. SW with a 1st Quarter Clock runner. Christian County staring at another 1 win season. My how fast they fell. 2017-11-1 2018 4-7 2019-0-11 2020- 1-6 2021- could be 1-10 Do they bounce back? I would assume with the merger getting some Hopkinsville kids will help it seems.
  2. They are much improved from last season and put a scare in Logan County for 3 quarters.
  3. Hopkins Central with a TD & GW 2 Point conversion with .05 seconds left to pull a slight upset 30-29. Hopkins central moved to 5-2 (1-1) while Calloway falls to 3-4 (1-1). Calloway travels to Hopkinsville next Friday while the Storm will host Madisonville.
  4. Logan County locks up home field for the first two rounds of the playoffs with their victory tonight. Madisonville falls to 0-3 in the district and are on playoff life support.
  5. Fairdale Lafayette Madison Central Louisville LSU
  6. Henry County isn’t the same Henry County this year that most of us remember. I’m going to say Tilghman pulls the upset 21-14.
  7. Sayre Hopkinsville Pikeville Bullitt East Highlands
  8. Tigers also lost to the Cougars in regular season last year before winning playoff rematch in their run to the semi-finals. Long football season especially with the current playoff format.
  9. Jefferson played all the snaps last night. 3 turnovers inside the 20, two missed PAT’s & two missed FG’s will get you beat against good teams, which is what Logan County is.
  10. Logan County converts 2 fourth and longs one via penalty and one on a pass on their final drive that leads to a go ahead 42 yard touchdown pass with 1:13 remaining to go up 13-12. The Tigers drive down to the Cougar 19 and fumble that leads to a 47 yard FG that is wide left to seal the victory. Great Game that gives the Cougars a leg up on being the #1 seed in the district. The Tigers fall to 2-4 and continue being a bipolar regular season football team.
  11. I’ve heard the rumor that Bradley had opted out of 5th year but I haven’t been able to confirm.
  12. A good game this week that I’m surprised no one has mentioned. Apollo seems to be on the rise under John Edge. Can they gain momentum and make themselves a district contender this week? McCracken County has had a surprisingly disappointing early season start. Losing Hunter Bradley did not help and they have had some bad luck injury wise. Coming off a big district win over Marshall County can they start 2-0 in the district?
  13. Looking at each team schedule this year. 1 common opponent was Christian County. Logan County W vs Warren East W vs Christian County 49-6 W vs Franklin Simpson L vs Greenwood Hopkinsville L vs Ballard L vs Mayfield W vs Caldwell L vs BG W vs Christian County 38-0 You have to wonder if the tougher schedule Hopkinsville played will have them prepared. Logan has played no one that compares to Hopkinsville yet. One would think that makes a difference.
  14. Logan County 3-1 #8 In BGP Class 4A Hopkinsville 2-3 #10 in BGP Class 4A. Big district game will take place in Hopkinsville this Friday night between these two squads. Logan County comes into this game off of a 22-7 loss to Greenwood and will be led by Mr. Do it All #22 Blake Wyatt. The Cougars go how he goes very similar to the Tigers. The Tigers come off of a 38-0 victory over rival Christian County. They will be led by their Do it All star #1 Daisjaun Mercer and received a big boost with return of starting QB #8 Jefferson. Friday night puts one team in the drivers seat for home playoffs through the first two rounds and more than likely first three rounds. Who ya got?
  15. Good matchup this week is 4A #8 Logan County at 4A #10 Hopkinsville. Hopkinsville could be back as the favorite in the west with the return of their Starting QB who was out vs Caldwell & vs BG.
  16. Daisjaun Mercer 5 rec 205 2 TD & a 62 yard punt return for a TD…
  17. Sneaky good game here in the state as two undefeated teams square off Friday night in Russellville. Logan County is coming off of a huge 29-27 win vs Franklin Simpson and they are now a perennial district winner in Class 4A district 1. What a great job @CoachAdlerhas done in turning this program around. Greenwood comes into this game 4-0 and although the schedule strength leaves a lot to be desired, 4-0 is still 4-0. Who ya got?
