  1. He just took the Graves job in January didn’t he?
  2. Any rumblings about who has applied or who may apply for this position?
  3. Also, a couple of young players to keep an eye on for this season are Jace Hagy and Antonio Kinzer. Both of these guys were major contributors last season as freshmen. They are going to be tough to handle the next 3 yrs.
  4. Agree with this. Maybe they steal one from Central Hardin if they don't get their act together in the off season. They will be very young again this year but some of the time their freshmen got at the varsity level last season will start to pay off this season or the next. They started 7 freshmen in their playoff game last yr. Their MS program won the conference championship last season and they have a very solid youth program now that is in it's 3rd or 4th year. The more that develops they better they will get.
  5. Well apparently it doesn’t matter who the admin are in the building because according to reports this decision was made solely by the SI without support from the principal or AD.
  6. I hate to break it to you but Central Hardin won’t be competing for State Titles, I don’t care who the coach is. Yes, BE pulled it off but that is a rarity. BE also had a group of kids that had played together their entire lives. CH doesn’t get that because of the multiple youth leagues in the area along with 2 middle schools splitting the kids. The Blue Bloods still rule 6A and the pool keeps getting deeper. FD was added to the mix and now not only does South Warren move to 6A, they move to Centrals district. Central won't even sniff a district championship for the foreseeable future. With how this firing supposedly went down snd sll those other factors, this is not a desirable job. And let's not forget, this coach was their 4th/5th choice when they made the hire last yr.
  7. I’ve been told by 3 separate people that the HC was putting hands on kids and degrading them. Putting them into lockers etc….I have no idea if any of that is true but those rumors are circulating.
  8. Mattingly is coaching at Bethlehem. I highly doubt he would return to CH for 1 yr. Especially since his son now coaches at Etown and they start playing again this season.
  9. This is now official. Coach Stockdale has sent out a message to the parents/players.
  10. Heard the same....Usually where there is smoke, there's fire!
  11. Yep. Take out the 12-1 1st year and you’ve got 13-10. 1st yr was a team of kids his dad coached for 3 yrs. A group of kids that won the MS state championship as 8th graders. But the issues aren’t even the wins & losses. He knows football without a doubt. He grew up in it. His dad is a legend. Unfortunately, he didn’t get his dads work ethic or character.
  12. If it's who I am hearing good luck with that...
  13. 2 players have transferred from the program in the last 2 days. Turner and Hager. Is something deeper going on or are these just one offs? Odd to see players leave the program. Kind of makes me wonder if Haddix is leaving....
  14. Hart has to take care of the football and limit some of their penalties. If they do those 2 things I like their chances at home. Give me Hart 22-13
