I pitched a lot in high school and college and played with a lot of other good pitchers and I have NEVER seen a pitcher intentionally hit a guy with a slow curve ball. Just does not happen...

Yep...unless the ball takes a crazy bad hop...hit a pebble or the seam between dirt and grass...ball between wickets =error almost all the time...

I am hearing different theories on this. One is that Apple secretly helped the FBI but had an agreement with the FBI that it would be a secret...not buying that one. The other is that the FBI knew it would lose in court so is just making up that they have hacked into the phone to save face and not get embarrassed in court. That actual seems more plausible to me.

Unfortunately, as a player who had to play against him numerous times, I had to watch him go...and go...and go...more times than I want to admit. He was a man against boys in HS...

Assuming Apple could do this as easily as you say (HUGE ASSUMPTION BTW), why would they want the responsibility of holding the new tech themselves? Some rogue employee gone bad (leaker) could take down the whole company.

The fact that they cannot is Apple's best selling point. The FBI has had that phone for months and cannot hack into it...pretty solid evidence that my I-phone cannot be hacked if they don't have my password.

Huh? Slightly above average? He is one of the best shooters ever...he was in college and in the NBA. The fact that he averaged 31 in HS makes me think he could really shoot it VERY well then as well. And one of the very best passing big men ever.

I know they do and I hope you don't think I am slighting the football players playing hoops. I am not. I think 7 of the first 8 players for HHS play football, right. They play hard and play with class. I had no problem with them at all last night. They just got beat by a more talented team. It is hard to beat players who work on basketball all summer and fall when your team is working on another sport. That is all I am saying.

I checked out the game last night -first time in the gym since the renovation. Looks nice. Much better. It was funny to see Mrs. Listerman wearing half red and half blue. Good game for a half but then Holmes pulled away in the third. I was thinking when Holmes went up 20 that Mike better let up a little or he may get an earful from Mama when they get home:lol2: HHS played hard but it honestly looked like a bunch of basketball players against a bunch of football players playing basketball. Posey and Cain played well I thought and Finfrock did as well. I think Kevin Listerman can coach and I hope he gets some horses there soon.

I am with Ru and BF on this one. First, steps taken is not the most accurate way to measure fitness. Someone can bike for an hour and lift weights for an hour and get a great workout and not register many steps at all. Second, it is not the university job's to worry about how many steps each student takes. It is the university's job to give the students an education. Now if a student is in a health or physical education class I would understand if that this was part of that class but not the whole student body. And BTW, I own a Fitbit and love it.

Totally agree. If I was the head coach of a major college team, I would challenge my assistants to find the very best HS kicker and then try to get him. That position WILL win or lose a game or games for you every year. Instead of worrying about the 4th string middle LB, I want a VERY GOOD kicker all the time.

I loved watching Jaime Walz play and have nothing against Creech breaking the record. It looks like if you compare only their four HS years, Creech scores more anyway, right?

They are HS kids. Their legs will be fine. When I played in HS, I would much rather play a game every day instead of practicing. Many of our practices were harder than the games. My guess is the kids at LC would rather play 11 games in 13 days than practice 11 times in 13 days.

Thanks for posting that video Panda. Now that I have seen it, I don't think that should be legal. Yell all you want, imitate the other coach, etc... but you should not be able to get that close to a kid inbounding the ball IMO. I have never seen that at any other HS game or college or certainly not in the NBA. Just my opinion...

Greg was not on the broadcast today. I think they missed him quite honestly. I couldn't care less about the homer stuff...of course they are. I just don't think they were as sharp as previous times I have heard them. Not ripping them...they are not pros and I think they do a solid job...

Hergott is a TOTALLY different player now compared to earlier in the year... Putting Hebel in the backfield to block has really helped the running game too...kid just pancakes people...
