Oldercoach Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Lawrence Co is on a brutal 11 games in 13 day schedule. They have won 7 of 8 games in just 9 days. With 3 more to go in the Traditional Bank Classic. In this stretch they lost only by 3 to 10th Regional power Montgomery Co. Impressive win over a top 5, 9th Region power Newcath and now must face a rested Trinity, which arguably is #1 or 2 in Ky. The Dalton brothers are exceptionall athletes and both jump out of the gym. Cannot imagine these guys still having legs left to go against Trinity. Cannot believe we won't See LC carry the 15th Regions banner to Rupp.

When I played in HS, I would much rather play a game every day instead of practicing. Many of our practices were harder than the games. My guess is the kids at LC would rather play 11 games in 13 days than practice 11 times in 13 days.
Oldercoach Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Sorry for error in final score. Hope someone can correct to 84-76.

Oldercoach Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Where are the Newcath supporters? I am amazed that Lawrence had as much left against Newcath that was 6-1 coming in and should have been well rested playing only 1 game in 10 days, while Lawrence has played 8 games in 9 days. Is 9th Region all that strong, or just too much Christmas for Newcath?
Oldercoach Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 Why can't LC they go to Rupp if they win region? Was indicating that I could not believe anyone else in 15th would beat them. Sorry for the confusion.
Danny Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Shocked this thread has not been started by someone from No. Ky. Could it be because NCC lost ?
Lawnboy13 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Shocked this thread has not been started by someone from No. Ky. Went to dinner after this one, and I ABSOLUTELY will NOT post recaps on my phone.......need my laptop or home computer. :thumb: Where are the Newcath supporters? Is 9th Region all that strong, or just too much Christmas for Newcath? The last two games the NewCath defense has been very suspect, this isn't the NewCath team I saw play the 1st 6 games of the season. Also, you're NOT going to win many when the opposition hits 25 of 30 free throws.
Lawnboy13 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Could it be because NCC lost ? Always look forward to your contribution to this site.
stay_strong Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Lawrence is pretty good, and the 9th region is down as compared to last few years IMO. Still a nice win for LC regardless
Yo Mama Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 8 games in 9 days? Is there no Khsaa rule on this?
Wireman Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Who in the world made the Lawrence County schedule smh?
