I love the Pats but I am worried about them. Gronk is not Gronk any longer. The injuries have definitely taken a big toll on him. I would not be surprised if he retired after this season. For the first time ever, I see Brady doing very un-Brady like things. He just never makes mental mistakes and he has made a couple of BIG ONES the past two weeks. I hope I am wrong (and totally agree that betting against the Pats is a losing proposition) but I think this may finally be the beginning of the end of the dynasty.

I have to admit that there are some teams in the NFL this year that if the Bengals offered to PAY ME $100 to go, I would say no thanks...Oakland, Arizona, NY Jets, Jacksonville, Detroit and probably a couple more...and not just because they are bad but because they are bad AND boring to watch... But to each his own...if others want to go and pay to watch, fine with me...I'd rather golf in the morning and into the early afternoon (like I did yesterday) and then watch Red Zone on my couch.

Totally agree and that is why I think there is a real chance it happens. It would be such a "Bengal" move...

I don't know much about Allen...is he a big time DI recruit? If so, who is he looking at? UK?? How big is he and what position does he play?? 3 or 4 or 5?

I think players sitting out bowl games was going to happen no matter what...just a sign of the times. Once one player did it, the flood games opened. I cannot blame the kids for doing it either.

My take on it all because I know how much you all care:) As an OSU fan, I would have been happy for OSU if they got in over Oklahoma but cannot complain as OSU should have taken care of business against Purdue, Nebraska and Maryland and frankly did not. I think OSU would have had a better chance of beating Alabama than Oklahoma because I think OSU's ceiling is higher than anybody's in country except Alabama...but again, Oklahoma did not lay the biggest egg ever against Purdue. Also, I think people assuming Clemson is just going to roll ND are going to be surprised. I DO NOT like Notre Dame AT ALL but respect them this year. I think Clemson will probably win but I think it will be a very competitive game. Finally, I really hope we never get to the point where a 2 loss non conference champ gets in before a 1 loss conference champ. UGA had its chance and blew it. It would have been really unfair to Alabama if Georgia was put in at 4 so basically Bama had to beat Georgia two straight times to move on.

OSU-Mich and Oklahoma-WVU (football) outscored these two teams...lol Virginia is good but incredibly boring to watch. Pretty much the same With Wisconsin...

Urban takes a lot of heat...and deservedly so. However he is a great, not good, big game coach. 7-0 the last seven times his team was an underdog as well as owning Michigan and a very good bowl record...

I imagine the message boards in Ann Arbor are brutal right now...I think most Michigan fans really THOUGHT they were winning this year, not just hoping. Big difference. They have to be in both shocked and angry.

I understand the UCF QB had a gruesome leg injury...have not seen it but heard it is not pretty. Hate to hear that for UCF...

I really like both players. Both seem like good dudes. Mookie is my favorite MLB player. Always has a smile on his face and has no weakness...just a total stud in every phase of the game...

How does HHS throw 3 passes in one half. I blame Weinrich for hiring an offensive coordinator that does not give the team a chance to win...it is pathetic that he allows this to happen week after week.

I agree totally. Using Eovaldi in the 8th inning was a great move in games 1 and 2. I could easily see him using Sale in the 8th inning in game 3 and Price in the 8th inning in game 4. Kimbrel is back to being Kimbrel again and Kelly has just nasty stuff. The bullpen all of a sudden looks dominant. The only guy on the staff I worry about now is Porcello...and he is a former Cy Young award winner:)...

I'm pretty sure a lot of schools do not keep tackle stats. I know the HHS stats guy very well and I know HHS does not.

What happened to UCONN? It was not that long ago that the UCONN program was on an upswing and was decent. It is a just a dumpster fire now. They get destroyed on a weekly basis nowadays...

Hmmm...it is definitely interesting...would never work in college or the NFL but I like it for pop warner, freshman or JV...get the game over quickly and no tie.

As a HHS grad and fan, I guess it is a good thing that HHS beat an undefeated team 38-9 and I came away disappointed. The defense played very well but the offense was frankly terrible. A special teams score, a defensive score, an offensive score when a bad snap on a punt gave HHS a very short field accounted for most of HHS' scoring. I left with 4 min to go and it was 31-7 so I don't know how the last scores were made but it was garbage time anyway. Simon Kenton did a lot of good things on D - really stuffed the HHS running game and sacked Cramer many times. I was shocked at how bad a passer the SK QB was. He is a good runner and plays hard and I hope he is OK as he was knocked out of the game in the second half. Also, the SK special teams unit had a brutal night. The Ohio University band was AWESOME. Very fun to watch!
