Dude, I know you are new on here so I am not sure if you are just messing with everyone on here or are serious. I am a big HHS fan and when you say things like the bolded, you embarrass yourself. I am with you that I hope HHS wins state but don't go saying they are the best team in Northern Ky THIS year when they are clearly not.

I am not sure they were underdogs to CCH before they played them. HHS is down this year, no doubt, but so is CCH. As a HHS fan, I thought it was basically a pick-em game before. I think if they play again, it will be another pick-em game. If HHS beats CCH again and plays a competitive game against PC, THIS HHS fan will look at it as a positive.

Pretty much how I (and most people) see it playing out. My guess is that they beat CCH but who knows. I will definitely be there if and when it happens. CCH was about the only game this year on the HHS schedule that was close. Almost all the others were pretty one sided...either for HHS or against.

Never a contest. Running clock midway thru the second quarter. Woodford Co. did have three big linemen - I guess they are all D1 but they could not move the ball at all. Only points in the first half for Woodford Co. came on a kickoff return. HHS pretty much did what it wanted on both sides of the ball.

Wins and losses should not be the only reason or even the most important reason IMO but W and L's definitely are and should be one of the reasons to keep or let go a coach. I do think the wins and losses have to be measured against the talent the team has to determine if the coach is achieving or under-achieving in that area. It is up to the AD or principal to make that call.

I don't think either St X is considered any better than average by their lofty standards. I predict a Cincy St X win by 10-14 but nothing is a given, especially when going on the road. I am surprised that Louisville St X would want to play Cincy St X the last game of the regular season - it will be a physical game to say the least.

I think my definition is making it to the final 4...JMO

This has to be the low point in BC football history, right? I hope they can turn it around because that school has too much solid football tradition to continue like this...

If getting to the state semifinals qualifies as a title run, I think HHS has a definite chance of doing that. They would have to win 3 home games against teams from a district that is supposed to be rather weak...or maybe beat CCH in round 3, which is very doable...not a given but very doable.

What is JD on FG's this year? The announcer (not Pic but the other guy) said he was 3-8 before the first one against CCH. He missed 2 in that game so IF the guy was correct, he is now 3-10. However, the announcer made a bunch of other mistakes I noticed so he could have been wrong on this too. Anyone know what JD is for FG's this year?? The kid has a VERY strong leg on kickoffs.

I believe former HHS player Kevin Siple coaches Grant County, correct?? Has to be strange for him to coach against HHS.

Isn't HHS already the district champ even if it loses? I don't think HHS will lose but even if it does it would 2-1. CCH/Dixie winner would also be 2-1...HHS would win tie breaker against either, correct? Don't get me wrong, HHS needs to win this game but technically, I think HHS is already the district champ...

I am only a casual football fan. I have played and coached basketball and baseball so I feel like I know a lot more about those two sports than football. However, it looked like the adjustment HHS made in the second half was moving 54 to nose guard. They lined him up over the center (instead of #5, who fights like crazy but weighs about 160). 54 created havoc and I thought was the difference in the second half. Is that what some of the others on here - coaches - think?? That kid has quite a motor. He gets double or sometimes triple teamed every play and he just keeps coming...and coming...and coming...

This is the first time I have seen CCH play so I will defer to your judgment. I will say that it looked like Eviston had no confidence in the CCH passing game late. Late in the 4th quarter they had 3rd and 6 from mid field and ran it up the middle - very strange call. On the first play of their last series they ran it up the middle with less than two minutes left and no TO's left. I don't blame Eviston as the QB threw 2 int's right to HHS defenders in the 4th quarter. He should have been picked in the first half too as and HHS guy dropped a pass right to him. Again, I won't judge a team on one game - QB may have just had a tough game...

Yep. The game could have went either way. HHS made some nice adjustments on D and shut out CCH in the second half. Seems like if you can make CCH pass, they are in trouble.
