Jared Dougherty of Highlands has verbally committed to Lindsey Wilson to continue his football playing career. Offer and opportunity were simply too good to pass up.

Good Luck!

Congrats!! LW is getting a very good football player and person.

Nice get for LWC when they can get a stud kicker.

Congratulations to young Mr. Dougherty and to JOAT!

Go Birds! :angrybird12:

Lindsey Wilson with a very nice get, a lot of schools missing the boat on Jared.

Happy for JOAT.

Thanks all for the kind words. It was always his dream to first be a Florida Gator and second to be a Division 1 player, but it just was not in the cards despite the efforts of many. The coaching staff went after him hot and heavy and indicated that he has a great opportunity to play immediately. Obviously he needs to perform, but it was a situation and an environment that he was very comfortable with.

Hoping their are a few other teammates that will join in him in getting the Blue Raiders farther in the playoffs and hopefully competing for a national championship.

Congratulations Jared! The Blue Raiders are getting an exceptional kicker and young man! Very proud of you JBird! Congrats JOAT and family!

Congrats Jared! It's been fun watching you play since you were young.

Congrats Jared and best of luck at LWC.

Congrats Jared and JOAT! Big fan from the beginning! Excited for you and family!! Great kid and family.
