AG: 8 killed 'execution style' in Pike County, OH - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

Saw this earlier...sad deal.

Sad story. I was just in that area last weekend for a cabin trip at Mineral Springs lake just outside of Peebles, Ohio. It's certainly a small rural area where everyone knows each other so I imagine it shouldn't be hard to track down who did this.

I don't understand why they are looking for anyone. If the killer killed himself, they should say that asap. I think they believe this is the case but I live to close to this area. They should tell the public.

News conference on now.

No one in custody. There are a male and a different location that was located later dead that could be the shooter.

1 juvenile male, 7 adults shot execution style. 3 survivors. 4 days old, 6 months old and 3 years old. All deceased with last name of Rhoden.

They are asking for any tips. Have not confirmed the 8th was suicide. Won't confirm, but if it was not him, there could be 1 or 2 folks out there armed and dangerous. 4 seperate crime scenes all within 1.5 miles.

DeWine just said the 8th was not suicide. Seemed to indicate he may have been involved but at least one shooter is still at large? Mom killed in bed at night next to the 4 day old child. All 8 execution style most in bed while shot over night.

Crazy stuff.

How many out of the eight killed were women? I didn't hear that at the news conference

Curious to hear motive

Police said they are actively seeking a shooter.

I'm surprised this hasn't been picked up by Fox or CNN.
