I believe Stansberry should have been on the team, he killed NewCath in the first half. But I think the Dixie coaching staff picks who's on the team.

Moss had 18 with 2 girls guarding her, doesn't seem too bad to me. I thought she played hard. Sometimes when a player is so athletic it doesn't look like they're giving 100%, but she was in this game.

I've read every post on this game and it took awhile. I really can't believe all the negative things being said about the greatest 9th Region Final ever. 16, 17 and 18 years olds giving their heart and soul to a game they love. It was unbelievable entertainment that brought out every possible emotion. I want to thank the kids and coaches from both teams for giving us a game we'll never forget. I can't wait til next season. You keep bringing up Giesler getting away with fouling. He without a doubt gets fouled more than any other player in the region without a foul being called. He gets hammered on every game. Just because he's big he gets forearms in the back pushed on double teams and slapped at every time he gets the ball, only to have someone flop when he turns around to shoot. I liked to have a nickle for every shot attemed he's been fouled that no foul was called. Get over it.

Back to the game, why in the world do coaches not foul up three with only seconds left in the game? It almost cost Ryle last night, like it did Xavier vs Ohio State a few years ago. It makes no sense. I'll take the ball up 1 every time.

Don't know who will win but I'm predicting 2 OT 78-77.

NCC plays much better defense than Ryle but if ND shoots like they did in this game it won't matter. ND did let Ryle get to the basket time after time in the second half. All by just driving to the right. It was strange to see it happen that many times.

What is it about these two teams that makes their games against one another so ugly. 10-10 at half.

I must admit that it is easier to make some calls from further away from the play because you see the entire play, not just what's right in front of you.

I would say every state champion win is bigger than a win at the Pit. But it will be interesting, and looking at Elder's schedule might be the least important game of the year for them.

Jack is and was a beast especially when he played because almost all high school players were skinny. He would still dominate don't get me wrong, he was an outstanding offensive player. I would take Giesler on defense however.

I can't see HC winning again. Listerman will have them prepared to beat the press and get easy buckets. HC will have to shoot very well to stay in the game. It's been a crazy season though, anything can happen.
