Listened to this one on the net. Exciting game thru out. Thelen hits the big three to tie it and send it to OT. All the kids from both teams played hard. Nice broadcast on Tri State Sports.

Just like I said when CCH beat Holy Cross and it brought an end to the career of 2 of my favorite boys on the Indians I must say the same about many of the seniors on this team. I've known many of them since they were first graders. As adults we know life goes on but as a former player I can remember the pain of the last game. So to Jake, Austin, Conner, Brett, and Andrew keep your head up and that I'm proud of all of you as well as your 12 year classmates.

Special note of congrats to Jake Thelen for moving into 4th place all-time in CCH scoring. He essentially did it in two seasons as he didn't play a lot his sophomore year due to a broken foot.

Covcath had a 25-17 lead early and it was all Ryle from there.

 

Congrats to the Raiders on the W. Vollett was huge on the offensive glass for the Raiders. Stauffer did it all.

 

Good luck to all the Covcath seniors. As Clyde stated, it's tough playing your last game as a high school senior so I feel for all of those boys right now. Keep your heads up Colonels.

It was a great game by both teams but listening on Tri State Sports is about as painful as it gets. Those guys announcing are bad! AS AS AS AS AS AS AS . It was mind numming.

My heart goes out to our seniors. As I told them as the bus pulled into the CovCath parking lot, thank you for letting me be a part of the team this season. Thank you Jake, Andrew, Drew, Mash, Hudy, Cubbie and Brett. Gentlemen hold you heads up high, you had a great senior year.

 

Underclassmen, remember how your seniors felt at the end of this game and when you think you have worked hard enough, think how they felt as the horn went off and push yourself just a little harder, so you never have to have that sickening feeling.
