This was a great game. Give Ryle credit for fighting back and then CCH for sticking with it to the end. Thelen played big as well as Stauffer. Perkins was the difference, I believe. Every time I watch CCH they look great for a while in games and then they seem to lose focus and have that lull when they turn the ball over and things get away from them. Regardless, it was anyone's game.

Congrats to the Raiders and both teams gave it all they had. What an amazing off-balance trey by Thelen with a defender in his face to send the game to OT. CC's 1st 3 of the night. Bobby Stauffer and Zac Perkins were studs at both ends of the court. Todd Vollet did LOTS of great physical work and was very instrumental in the win, too. He even missed a few point blank shots he normally makes - give credit to CC for lots of interior defense and shot blocking. Dylan James played GREAT and really helped off the bench with great hustle and passing and even knocked in a three. AC Stinson and Tate Mullins pitched in with a lot of good physical defensive play. Jeff Richards provided some quality minutes of hustle and team play off the bench. These are the 7 men that got it done. I thought the refs were fantastic in that they let the boys play and the game was called evenly. The Crazies are the best - what a treat to watch them. Are they for hire for our next game? Best wishes to all CC seniors - it is such an emotional time to play that last h.s. game. Alan Mullins did a heckuva a job at half time. No more easy buckets the second half like CC got in the first. I don't remember Ryle getting to 20 wins but maybe once in the past. Good luck to the Raiders vs. NewCath. Gonna be another great game!

One of the better officiated games I have seen all year and not because Ryle won. Just thought they did a great job and were certainly not remotely close to being a factor in the outcome.

I concur with the sentiment that the refs did a great job. Ryle packed things in tight around Thelan. They kept the ball out of his hands for large blocks of time. Jake nailed the trey with 3 seconds left on the clock. The Colonels missed some big free throws down the stretch in regulation. Hard fought victory for Ryle. Best of luck for a deep run in the tournament.

Schult and Perkins have that extra gear that just makes you root like heck for them. What a pleasure to watch those 2 young men play the game they love. I thought that sportsmanship was outstanding in such an intense and close game with the season on the line.

It was a great game by both teams but listening on Tri State Sports is about as painful as it gets. Those guys announcing are bad! AS AS AS AS AS AS AS . It was mind numming.

 

Well if you can do any better there Cawood Jr., have at it. I'll take them over nothing at all if I can't attend the game.
