Don't count on it.most of Highlands team is seniors that don't play football. Grubbs is the only one on varsity that will not play. Highlands is too big for St. Henry.
39 shots? Wow, I've never seen a high school player ever get that many shots in a game. He had to shoot it every time he got it. Most big guys don't even touch it that many times.
I've heard St. Henry doesn't have much size. Jake Rieger will be tough for them to stop and will probably be the difference. Also, the 10th region refs.
I was not even aware that your schedules were determined by what division you played in. There doesn't seem to be anyone making conference games more important than any others. No conference championships or conference stats or standings posted, so what's the big deal to Holmes on what division they're playing in?
Do away with the district tournaments (they're not fair anyway) and have one big regional tournament and seed the top 4 teams. Draw the other teams. It would be interesting also, like the NCAA tournament. It would be nice to play other teams for a change.
Absolutely not, it doesn't make sense that if your a good team that the worst team you play all year is in the first round of the playoffs. Do you really think that a 2-8 or 1-9 team looks forward to getting beat 55-0 in a playoff game? And traveling an hour or two to do it. The playoffs are too long and too watered down anyway.
Dayton and Villa have most of their players back so they have to be the favorites. Wasn't it Dayton that gave Newport a good game in the All A last year? Villa picked up a big boy from CovCath that should help them on the boards where they struggled last year.
