What would be the starting lineup? Could they compete for a state championship vs. X or T?

 

Boone, Ryle, Conner and Cooper as one team can beat X or T? Opinions??

There is no question about it if. I even think they would dominate some years... but obviously its not happening.

Which would contain about 3,000 or so boys so I would expect them to be able to put together top-of-the-line football teams if that actually happened. I'm not quite sure what the student population of St. X or Trinity is but I'd venture to guess that it is at least 1600+ and considering they are both all boy schools that would equate to roughly a 3200 student population of a boy/girl school. So thus I would expect Boone to win the majority of the games based on the sheer numbers they had as they could be very selective about who they wanted for their team.

A catholic school and they could take from all of the 4 schools. This would be the worst nightmare for the Louisville teams or any 6A team in KY.

 

Even if you combined Ryle and Boone you have a powerhouse. But its not happening, infact the exact opposite has happened and Cooper was built which only makes NKY 6A weaker.

Both X and T have around 1500 boys.

 

A point I might add. It wouldn't matter if Boone Co had 3000 boys if they didn't have 100+ freshman football players (nearly all with previous playing experience) showing up at the beginning of every season. If they (or anybody for that matter) begins to do that then they will compete, until then I think competing with X and T will be very very difficult.

A lot of the larger counties can make these same claims. If all the Daviess County schools combined. If all the Warren County schools combined.

It doesn't matter because it won't happen, before Ryle and Cooper, Boone County was for the most part Boone County.
