I remember the Highlands Elder game, the first in PBS, they agreed to not show replay of big hits or close calls. Of course they showed the big hit on Brent Grover and the obvious fumble that very likely would have changed the outcome of the game. I think replay is fine because it makes the refs take responsibility for their actions.

Football, unlike basketball, doesn't have an early signing period. The first Wednesday in February their senior year is the first time they can sign an LOI unless they are an EE. I don't know of any kid that was an EE for football unless they are on scholarship. I just don't understand what roughly 4-5 more months of High School is really going to do for kids. They get prepared for the college level by being able to be coached by college coaches and are able to participate in spring ball. I will pose a question, if you were a college coach, would you not take any EE's because of your past experiences?

So the argument for NCC is they might sneak one in every once in a blue moon.. might. I dk pretty weak aarguement for saying the teams should play. Highlands should beat NCC anyway. Larger enrollment and more athletes play. Sure I would like to see it, but does it make sense? I still wish they did because we wouldn't have these debates.

Big schools have 8-10 early enrollees every year. Wasn't Zeke Pike an EE? It's a major advantage to go through spring ball before the first year of college football. I don't think there is a rule about graduating high school early, but some curriculums may not make it possible.
