It is a rivalry, but it is 1 Cov Cath win from being another major rivalry. Highlands has seemed to come back down to earth by losing to some NKY teams, and Cov Cath has got to be better at some point.

Sounds like Highlands survived the half

Did anyone notice anything new after the bye week? I was wondering if guys were going both ways, or if the offensive or defensive strategies were adjusted.

Then who is the best NKY team ever?

Obviously it was the first game so we will see. It just seems like some carry over from the last few years. I wasn't at the game nor did I watch it. But according to about every comment on here, both sides of the ball struggled for the Birds. I will reevaluate when the weather changes. Hopefully Cooper is that good. Time will tell.

I haven't paid attention to Cooper in the past so I don't know how to compare them. They seem to be a very good team. The defense for Highlands last year wasn't great and hasn't seemed to improve. However, the offense seems to be significantly worse. 1 offensive TD?

That was 2002 against Henry Clay. Highlands didn't win state the year before though.

This seems to be a year where St. X (OH) is very good and are up from where they normally are (which they are typically very good). Highlands may possibly be down a little bit (Again, usually a very good team). We can always go back to that this was a scrimmage, and Highlands always prepares and utilizes players as such. This season should be very exciting for Highlands.
