Not happy with the final score, but Male is on a mission. 2 more and they've got it. I think they can do it, but they need to keep their focus.

 

Male is a darn good squad. If anyone stays close to them from here I will be shocked, they have so much speed.

What a game. Congrats to both teams. Hard to imagine Trinity getting beat on special teams but it happened tonight.

Special Teams seemed to be a struggle this season. Look back at the first X game among others.

I'm inclined to agree. If anyone stays within 14 points of Male from here on out I will be surprised.

Male is a darned good team, and they earned this victory.

 

Still, I can't help but be mad about the change in play calling. Half the distance to the goal and you change from 2-point to XP? Even before they kicked I was angry and the miss only cinched it.

I am in Virginia and heading for California tomorrow, so I couldn't be at the game. Thanks so much for the great updates provided by Deuce on BGP, even us who were not there were able to feel the excitement. Trinity made a vast improvement from their horrific mid season loss to Male, but could just not get it all the way back. Good luck Bulldogs on your remains games. As PepRock so well noted, keep your focus.

I was following the update thread. What a game. Definitely lived up to the hype. Two great 6A teams.
